DeeDee is Mt. Moriah Ranch’s first donated horse and is an answer to many years of prayer. DeeDee is sweet, quiet, and provides a feeling of stability for many children and adults at Mt. Moriah Ranch. She loves her food and will do just about anything for a treat. We always joke that DeeDee is a cow trapped in a horse’s body!
Before DeeDee became ours, she had been retired from a reining career. DeeDee now has another career as an INCREDIBLE therapy horse.
Noble is a 15 year old Fresian/Percheron. At Mt. Moriah Ranch. He is affectionately known as “Fabio” because of his beautiful and voluminous mane, forelock, and tail. He is the leader of our horse herd. You will often see him scratching the back of the other horses, rolling in the sand, and scratching his ears with his back hooves. He’s a gentle giant and is beloved by all, especially the little ones.
MiMi is an American Paint Horse. She’s an old gal, but still full of life. She enjoys lunchtime sunbathing, using the other horses’ tails as her personal fly-swatters, and being petted by all. She’s a kind-hearted horse who gets great joy out of helping her two-legged friends.
Tinkerbell is a mini/pony cross. She has the best hair on the ranch and it’s totally natural! She is quite the feisty little thing and bosses all of the big horses around. She’s sweet and loved by all the kids. When they go home, most kids ask if Tinkerbell can come and live in their backyards.
